In 2004 Merit completed a $36 million press hall and office refurbishment for the West Australian Newspapers Corporation. Merit was involved in the design and offered cost benefit analysis for different types of construction. Steel portal frames with stacked tilt panels best satisfied the design criteria. For the 6000 square meter, 28 meter high press hall the scope included complex hydraulic, electrical and mechanical services and significant co-ordination with KBA, a German press manufacturer, to allow for the press plant installation. The complex foundations for the plant designed by Pritchard Francis and built by Merit to withstand the large loads and vibrations from the printing equipment attracted an award from the Cement and Concrete Association of Australia.

Purpose built for SGS Australia, a Swiss materials research group, the 25,000 square metre site at Perth's international airport accommodates a 3,000 square metre warehouse, a 1,500 square metre office and a 2,500 square meter lab facility for analysis of minerals and mining samples. The design and construct project allowed for the West Australian Airports Corporation's strict environmental controls and was constructed using a combination of tilt panels, steel structure and light weight steel cladding. The internal fit-out for the project was also completed by Merit Projects.

In 2012 Merit was commissioned by Falcon Engineering, a steel manufacturing and engineering company, to design and construct a new office and industrial premises. The facility, purpose built for the fabrication of high quality steel products used in the electrical and mining industries, is situated in a promising commercial area between Jandakot Airport and Armadale. The tilt-up concrete panel and structural steel building consists of a 500 square meter two story office, 1,000 square meter rear hardstand and 3,000 square meter enclosed industrial factory with overhead gantry crane facilities.

The 883 Abernethy Road design and construct project consists of an 800 square metre office, a 6000 square metre warehouse with nine metre hook height gantry cranes and an extensive hardstand and parking area. Built for Plato Prospecting and recently leased by Boart Longyear the construction was achieved using tilt panels and structural steel. Highly insulating Bradcore fire proof panels were used on the office facade to create appealing aesthetics and improve energy efficiency.

Built for the West Australian Airports Corporation, the WA headquarters of mining and construction equipment supplier Atlas Copco offers 600 square metres of office space, a workshop of 3,500 square metres, including Gantry cranes and extensive hardstand of 4,000 square meters. The design and construct project was built from tilt panel and structural steel and met with the best practice environmental requirements set by the West Australian Airports Corporation.

In 2014 Merit Projects completed a storage facility for the Perth Mint at the Newburn commercial area adjacent to the Perth International Airport. The approximately 1,200 square meter facility was designed by Hindley & Associates to meet the specific needs of the Perth Mint. Extensive security measures and strengthening of the buildings structure were implemented to facilitate the particular storage requirements.

In 2015 Merit completed a commercial industrial development for Titanium Investments. Existing structures on the 30,000 square meter site in Bassendean were demolished to make way for extensive container storage and hardstand areas and a 2,200 square meter (30,000 cubic meter) workshop. The Oldfield Knott designed facility is currently leased by Australian and New Zealand sea container providers Royal Wolf and the workshop used for container repairs and modifications. The workshop was built using tilt up panels and structural steel and the container storage areas granular recycled bitumen to allow for a stable surface that can withstand traffic and manoeuvring of heavy vehicles.
