Mixed Use

513 Hay Street is an attractive mixed use development located on a 2,500 square metre site in central Subiaco. The building comprises two floors of underground parking, two floors of offices and shop fronts and two floors of twenty four apartments with private balconies and courtyards. The complex design of the project utilised contiguous piled retaining walls, post tensioned slabs and the AFS walling system to achieve the impressive results.

Ascot Quays is a hotel, townhouse and mixed use complex situated on the Swan River in Ascot Waters, half way between Perth's airports and CBD. Merit was involved in the design and construction of all five stages of the development. The hotel comprises 68 apartments, two stories of undercroft parking, entrance lobby, restaurant, 25 metre pool and gym across eight stories of pre-cast floors and load bearing brickwork. The townhouse development offers thirty four short stay and privately owned townhouses with secure parking and courtyards and was built using load bearing brickwork and insitu reinforced concrete slabs. The mixed use development comprises of two stories of office space, undercroft parking and three stories of apartments and was built using a combination of tilt up panels and reinforced concrete slabs with load bearing brickwork.

After completion of the new REIWA House at 215 Hay Street Subiaco, Merit was engaged by Match Group to build a mixed commercial and residential development on the previous REIWA site at 217 Hay Street. The three storey building with one level of under croft parking consists of fifty two car bays, twenty seven boutique strata title offices centred around an internal atrium and nine executive apartments with external top floor balconies and one to three bedrooms. Insitu concrete, pre-cast panels, AFS walling and core filled block work were used in combination to achieve the different structural requirements of the building.

In line with Subiaco Central's mixed use initiative, E-Building offers a combination of apartments and offices close to the city and shops of Subiaco. Merit was involved in the design process in order to offer cost/design benefit advice.The building was achieved using a reinforced concrete frame with brick infill and structural steel roofing. The four storey development comprises of basement car parking, six ground floor offices and sixteen, two storey apartments with private balconies.

Axis or 135 Royal Street is a mixed use development situated in East Perth's popular inner city living environment. The four storey building comprises of eight large three bedroom apartments with parking at grade, two offices and street side café and lunch bar. The structure was built using load bearing brickwork and reinforced concrete slabs, the attractive front facade was achieved using glass tiling and stainless steel cladding.
