In 2009 Merit completed the Forrest Library and additional classrooms, staff facilities and IT department for Hale School. The three separate buildings, offering 6,000 square meters of teaching-learning space, was constructed using a combination of concrete slabs, load bearing brickwork and pre-cast columns and beams. The attractive library facade and school entry was achieved using Terracade, Alucabond and Donnybrook stone. The project won James Christou and Partners an architectural award from the Australian Institute of Architects for successful indoor-outdoor relationships of spaces and the buildings interaction with existing school buildings.

Wesley College is a private boy's school with over 1300 students and a member of the Public Schools Association of Western Australia. The middle school was built by Merit in 1998 and comprises 12 classrooms, offices, amenities and external courtyards. The two storey building was achieved using a reinforced suspended concrete slab, face brickwork with intricate detailing, glazed roofing and stainless steel balustrades. Wesley's design, technology and arts department was built by Merit in 2003 and comprises 2,000 square metres of classrooms and workshops over two stories. The building consists of a concrete frame and face brick infill to match with the schools existing facilities.

From 1992 to 1995 Merit was commissioned by Australia Post to design and construct the Perth Parcel Center in Welshpool and 8 business / delivery centers servicing the Perth metro area. The $3.4 million Parcel Center, which includes 2,000 square metres of office space and a 7,000 square metre storage facility, and the $700,000 business / delivery centers were built efficiently using tilt up panels and structural steel.

Continuing the relationship with T&Z Architects in 2015 Merit completed building new facilities for the West Australian district office of the St Johns Lutheran Church in Aberdeen Street, Northbridge. The modern development linked to existing heritage facilities consists of a new courtyard, hall, reception, offices and amenities for use by the church, three tenacies for external commercial leasing and a basement level car park with 47 car bays, stores and bike facilities. Additional work was done to council areas adjacent to the site to improve streetscape and functionality for public use.

In 1997 Merit built an indoor sports and arts centre for the John Wollaston Anglican Community School. The centre includes a 2,000 square metre parquetry floor used for adjacent basketball courts and assembly hall, a mezzanine floor gym and two stories of offices, classrooms and change room facilities. The versatile structural steel and block work building is used extensively to meet the schools requirements.
